Felix grew up a bit this week: he declared himself done with kid's table settings. No more colorful plastic plates and cups, no more chunky forks and spoons. He's using the same stuff as Dean and Lucie.

Also, Felix started drawing! He used to hardly ever draw, and certainly not anything representational. Suddenly this week his cubby's been full of artwork every day: people, giants, whale's teeth, tons of stuff. We don't know what's more amazing: that he waited five years to start drawing people, or that when he did, that they'd be so good. We haven't asked him why he suddenly started, but he's very happy with his drawings and so are we.
