We're pregnant. Lucie's in her second trimester. The baby is due around July 17th.
We don't have a name yet. The code name for the project is "Bastille", because we originally thought the due date was July 14th, Bastille Day.
Bastille is a boy. We found this out at the sonogram checkup yesterday. He has the right numbers of fingers and toes, and his little heart is beating like a champ.
Felix has some hazy notion of what's going on. When we ask "where's the baby?" he knows the correct answer is to point at mom's belly. He always says "yes" when we ask him if he wants a baby in the house. Which is also the correct answer.
Lucie is already starting to move in that majestic, belly-first stroll.
