Felix is getting more confident that other people will understand him. A first for him: he went up to a boy at the playground who was building a sandcastle and said, "Nice!" Then, after watching a while, said "Want play?" And they went off and played together. Also, he's started to sing: he'll softly sing the first line to "Row your boat", except he'll sing it "Row, row, row bateau!"

We are getting ready for the move in two weeks, finding a doctor for Lucie and a preschool and pediatrician for Felix. Felix has been going on most of the preschool interviews. He's fully aware what's going on. Leaving one of them, we asked whether he'd rather that one or one we visited previously. He was absolutely for that one. A few thoughtful minutes later, he asked "Mommy come too?" No sweetie, Mom's not staying with you at school...
