Felix's school re-opened for the fall semester. Going back was blissfully painless. Felix was so excited to see his friends and teachers the first day, he actually ran the entire 4 blocks to school.
Milo really likes his nanny, and Lucie is enjoying her job. Yeah! It feels good to be back in a routine.
Milo continued the language explosion that started last week. He's picking up baby signs as fast as we can teach them. He's especially into animals. He repeats a ton of suff, but here's the new ones that we've confirmed he does independently:
- no: no. The no's have started!
- meuuuuuuuh: cow
- [brush cheek with 2 fingers] + meow: cat.
- [scratch ribs] + oo oo oo: monkey.
- [hand claws the air] + rrrraaaaaa: lion.
- [wide clap of the hands]: crocodile.
- [fingers open and close like a beak]: duck
- [fist]: ball. He has a hard time doing this one, his fingers just kinda twitch.
- [arm outstretched] + niaaaaooooo: plane.
- [arm above head]: sun.
